Did you know about 80% of people with disabilities live in developing countries? However, the majority of the efforts and funding of the international community in relation to disability is not focussed on the South. Policy makers don’t consider people with disabilities a priority in their work and NGOs only have a limited expertise at their disposal or accentuate other themes and topics.
